Job Title: Income & Franchise Tax Senior Associate
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90071
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Salary: $101,200 – $129,030/year + Annual Bonus
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Income & Franchise Tax Senior Associate** to support state income tax compliance and consulting projects for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and review **State Income and Franchise Tax** returns.
* Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client correspondence.
* Support multi-state tax compliance and consulting projects.
* Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
* Review tax returns for accuracy and identify tax savings opportunities.
* Work with clients and internal teams on various SALT matters.
* Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting**
* 2+ years of progressive experience in State Income Tax compliance**
* CPA preferred or demonstrated progress toward CPA
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and Microsoft Excel skills
