Job Title: Partnership Tax Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103, US |Hybrid (In-office 3 days/week)
Travel: As needed
Bonus: Annual performance bonus
Role Summary
The Partnership Tax Manager will lead and review complex partnership tax engagements, provide Subchapter K tax consulting, and manage client relationships. This role includes mentoring staff, supporting business development, and delivering high-quality tax compliance and planning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review complex partnership and joint venture tax returns
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Manage IRC 704(b) capital accounts
- Lead multiple client engagements and manage to budget
- Research partnership tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries
- Mentor and develop staff; conduct performance reviews
- Support proposals and business development efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA required
- 6–10 years of partnership tax experience
- Strong knowledge of Subchapter K partnership taxation
- Experience with partnership and non-corporate tax returns
- Background in a Top 10 public accounting firm
- Strong client service, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with entity formation and M&A
- Stable work history with minimal job hopping
