Job Description: Bench Sales Manager (US Staffing)
The Bench Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the bench sales team and driving successful placements of H1B consultants by leveraging strong Tier 1/vendor relationships and multiple job portals such as Dice, TechFetch, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn. This role requires leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on involvement in marketing consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the bench sales team, ensuring productivity and target achievement
  • Assign consultants to team members and monitor daily submission activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 vendors, prime vendors, and direct clients
  • Oversee marketing of H1B, OPT, CPT, and Other EAD candidates to vendors
  • Guide the team in effectively marketing bench consultants and improving submission quality
  • Coordinate and track interviews, ensuring smooth communication between consultants and vendors/clients
  • Ensure timely follow-ups with vendors and clients to maximize placement success
  • Negotiate billing rates, pay rates, and contract terms with vendors and clients
  • Review job requirements and ensure proper matching of consultant skillsets
  • Train and mentor team members on sourcing techniques, including advanced Boolean search strategies
  • Ensure resumes are properly formatted and aligned with client requirements before submission
  • Maintain and expand a strong vendor database for consistent requirements
  • Ensure team compliance with US staffing standards, including W2, C2C, and 1099 employment models
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and share reports with management
  • Drive team performance to meet and exceed monthly and annual placement targets

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in US Bench Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership/managerial role
  • Strong experience working with Tier 1 vendors and implementation partners
  • Proven track record of successful consultant placements
  • Deep understanding of US visa types (H1B, OPT, CPT, Other EAD)
  • Expertise in using job portals like Dice, Monster, TechFetch, and LinkedIn
  • Hands-on experience with ATS tools (JobDiva preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
