Job Title: SALT – Income & Franchise Tax Manager
📍 Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting engagements
- Review and prepare tax returns, research tax issues, and draft client communications
- Lead multi-state tax projects and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Advise clients on tax strategies, audits, and process improvements
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery
- Mentor, train, and develop junior staff
- Support business development and client relationship management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license required
- 6+ years of tax experience (public accounting preferred)
- Strong experience in state income and franchise tax
- Proven leadership and team management skills
