Job Title: SALT – Income & Franchise Tax Manager

📍 Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting engagements
• Review and prepare tax returns, research tax issues, and draft client communications
• Lead multi-state tax projects and identify tax-saving opportunities
• Advise clients on tax strategies, audits, and process improvements
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery
• Mentor, train, and develop junior staff
• Support business development and client relationship management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license required
• 6+ years of tax experience (public accounting preferred)
• Strong experience in state income and franchise tax
• Proven leadership and team management skills
